Taking its name from the Antilles—the islands that shape the Caribbean’s identity and imagination—Antillia Film Festival was born from the success of Paradise48 Film Festival, the Caribbean’s pioneering 48-hour film competition. What began as a creative challenge has grown into something bigger: a platform for Caribbean storytelling, collaboration, and industry growth.

Antillia expands that vision into a full film festival and year-round creative ecosystem. We’re bringing together filmmakers from across the Caribbean and its global diaspora to showcase bold storytelling, build industry connections, and create new opportunities for Caribbean cinema.

Paradise48 Competition

The Paradise48 competition continues as part of the Antillia platform. A fast-paced filmmaking challenge, it brings Caribbean creatives together to write, shoot, edit and score original films in just 48 hours.
